We got back a week ago from a two week vacation in Central America. We started with 3 days in San Jose, Costa Rica, went on a 7 day cruise from Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica, to Colon Panama. If you're thinking wait, those are in different oceans! You would be correct, our Ship, the Star Pride (Small ship, 300 guests), transited through the Panama Canal. This was a bucket list adventure for me. I expected to see great things, and the transit exceed them‼️We then spent 3 days in Panama City.

@hollie it was. I put it in the class with the Grand Canyon. All the hype, all the photos, and one thinks “There’s no way this can live up to all that.”
Then people see it first hand and they think it wasn’t hyped enough or perhaps could never be hyped enough.
Collette was telling everyone we met that we are doing this because it's on SCOTT’S bucket list. Mid transit up the first set of locks, she tells me it’s way cooler than she imagined.
