@dynamic@bonfire.social.coop

I live in the Boston Area with my spouse and child, and am a university lecturer teaching courses in GIS and food systems.

I am a car free bicycle commuter, and like nature observation, foraging, making crafts, Deep Canvassing, and talking about big ideas.

In my academic life, I do a lot of computer modeling, and I'm a big fan of systems dynamics thinking. I used to hang out with the STS folks at Harvard, which has helped shape my thinking.

Hello everyone.

I'm on this testing ground too and I like quite much Bonfire.

  • the threaded view
  • the (comfortable) editor
  • the circles idea
  • other minor (as the possibility to add tasks and other objects). 馃槉

What do you like, and what don't you like about it?

Best...

Bob Haugen: I see a nice indented thread pretty much automatically...

Yes.聽 I really appreciate that the's an option for a proper thread view.聽 I'm less than pleased with the fact that there's also options for sorting threads by numbers of replies or numbers of likes.聽

I would prefer to get away from social media being a massive popularity contest.

Bob Haugen: Adding to the thread, I think. But let's find out how to see a thread in @Bonfire

dynamic: Playing around with creating a thread.

Adding to the thread, I think.

But let's find out how to see a thread in @Bonfire

I'm curious as to how we are able to see this post from Bonfire if the Bonfire instance isn't federated yet.
