On 20 May, #Amazon will cut off #Kindle reading tablets manufactured as recently as 2012 from the Kindle Store. You can still read the books that sit on your device. But if you have to factory reset it, they disappear. You get a discount to buy a new Kindle and retain access.

My Kindle is from 2015, so I guess it'll be cut off in 2029. Amazon just lost me as an e-book customer. I quit buying material things from them years ago.
