Jupes and I stayed up late talking and I realized suddenly that I hadn’t done my bike ride today. So we threw on shoes at ten after midnight and stood outside, Jupes pointing into the sky and calling out the names of stars and planets - Jupiter, of course, and Sirius and Capella - while I rode up and down the street a few times.

If it’s after sundown but before I go to sleep, that’s my definition of “today”.
@hollie heh ... that's definitely the way others in my life think about this also ... I mean, it matters most on pinch-punch day - does being awake after midnight on the 1st mean the window of opportunity has opened? or do you need to have slept first? what if you stay up all night?
